Welcome to the American Legion, Peter J Courcy Post 178, Frisco, Texas website. Post 178 is named for Frisco resident Peter J. Courcy, who was KIA in Afghanistan in 2009. Today, our Frisco American Legion continues to serve our country by serving our community in a multitude of ways. Some of our programs include supporting our veterans through financial assistance, visiting veterans in retirement and rehabilitation facilities, our Color & Honor Guard presenting the colors for events large and small, and fighting for our veterans rights.

We are also very involved with youth programs in Frisco by teaching patriotism in schools, sponsoring Frisco students in the Boys State leadership program at the state capital in Austin, hosting an oratorical competition, funding scholarships, and supporting local Scout Troops.
