A yearly awards program within the State of Texas that recognizes an outstanding:
Firefighter
EMT/Paramedic
Law Enforcement Officer
Enlisted National Guard/Reservist

Candidates for each category shall be identified at the post level and submitted through the chain of command. Candidates must have exceeded, above and beyond, duty requirements, exemplified the virtues of professionalism and dedication, and demonstrated a distinct pattern of community service.
