Kevin Robinson elected to serve as the Post Service Officer

Kevin RobinsonFrisco TX – Frisco’s Peter J Courcy American Legion Post 178 is pleased to announce the election and installation of our new Post Service Officer. Fred Rogers, Post 178 Commander commented that Post 178 is named in honor and memory of Cpl. Peter J. Courcy, a Frisco resident, who was killed in action in 2009 in Salerno, Afghanistan, during Operation Enduring Freedom.

According to Commander Rogers “We are proud to announce the election of Kevin Robinson to this important position. Kevin is a retired USAF veteran and understands the needs of our local veterans and is dedicated to helping area veterans receive the benefits and help that their country promised and owes them.”

New American Legion post to meet Tuesday in Frisco

Veterans and active-duty personnel from all U.S. military branches are invited to a meeting of the new American Legion Post 178.

The meeting will be from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Frisco Senior Center, 6670 Moore St.

The post will focus on community service and assistance to veterans.
