Nate is a U.S. Army Green Beret\, Bronze Star recipient\, and combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. While serving overseas\, he trained himself to walk on to the University of Texas Longhorns football team — with no prior organized football experience — and went on to hold the No. 1 long-snapper position for three seasons. In 2015\, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks at age 34\, becoming the oldest rookie in NFL history\, and had the honor of leading the team out of the tunnel carrying the American flag.\nNate is also the Co-Founder of Merging Vets & Players (MVP)\, an organization he built with NFL insider Jay Glazer to help veterans and athletes navigate life transitions together.
