March 29 is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. It commemorates the sacrifices and service of Vietnam veterans and their families.  The commemorative honors all veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time from November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, regardless of location.  No distinction exists between veterans who served in-country, in-theater, or who were stationed elsewhere during the Vietnam War period.

A “Welcome Home” Vietnam Veterans Day Ceremony is planned by VFW Post 8273.  The event is free and open to the public.
